The ultimate goal of Christian Education as stated in 1Timothy 2:4, is God's will for "all men to be saved, and to come to a knowledge of the truth."
The Board of Christian Education is responsible for providing Christian education opportunities to people of all ages - children, youth, and adults, at both of our locations. Our purpose is to promote and facilitate the study of God's Word to nurture faith, and encourage growth in the knowledge of God's Word. This is accomplished through the various ministries within the Board - Adult Bible studies, "The Cracked Pots" group, Sunday School, Pre-School, Vacation Bible School, Youth Bible Study and Youth Group, the Confirmation program, and our Church Library.
We encourage the study of God's Word to become a life-long process, beginning with very young children, and continuing throughout adulthood. Bible studies and Sunday School classes (which are age-appropriate for learning) are offered at the same time - prior to the Sunday morning worship service - in order that everyone has an opportunity to attend classes, and then to come and worship God together, as His family. The Director of the Board of Christian Education is Betty Klics.
