Foothills Lutheran Church, a congregation of Lutheran Church – Canada, has been sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ in the Calgary area for over 50 years. Foothills is a family-oriented congregation with people of all ages not only worshiping but also involved in the ministry of the church. The congregation is also multi-cultural – people from many different countries of origin make Foothills their home church.

The ministry of the church is likewise varied. There are on-going programs for children, youth and young adults. Midweek and Sunday adult Bible classes are one of the strengths of the congregation. Foothills has a great choir and other skilled musicians and vocalists who contribute to a dynamic worship service. Women’s groups, seniors’ groups, and other special interest groups make it possible for almost anyone to find a niche at Foothills. Community service and outreach take our congregation members beyond the four walls of the church building. We offer a licensed preschool program for families in our community.

The Word of God and the message of forgiveness in Christ is central in all that the congregation teaches and does. We invite you to come and share in the blessings Christ gives us in His Word and through His life, death and resurrection for us.
