May 12, 2024 – The One Who Brings Us Together

Seventh Sunday of Easter (Series B) – John 17:11

On this Sunday after the Ascension, we are mindful that the Lord of Life, who walked this earth has returned to His true glory in heaven. Thankfully, we remember that even though the Lord has ascended to His heavenly throne, He still promises us: “behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”” (Matthew 28:20, ESV) The Lord who brings us together prays that we may continue to be One in Him. United by our faith in Him, we rejoice in the love and fellowship we share and enjoy the blessings that are ours through the One who brings us together into His body in the church.
