August 10, 2025 – When the Going Gets Tough, God is Still There

Ninth Sunday after Pentecost (Proper 14-C) – Job 42:1-9

Job is not the easiest book to understand, but then suffering is never easy to understand and accept. We often wonder, “where are you, God?” Yet the simplest and best lesson from Job is that when the going gets tough, God is still at work to care for His people and to lead us through the struggles to His peace and rest.
