November 23, 2025 – Living Under His Gracious Rule
Last Sunday of the Church Year (Proper 29-C) – Colossians 1:13-14
On this last Sunday of the church year, we look to the fulfilment of all that God has promised to His people. To use Luther’s words from the explanation of the Second Article: Christ has redeemed me, a lost and condemned person. . . that I may be His own and live under Him in His kingdom and serve Him in everlasting righteousness, innocence, and blessedness. How blessed we are to know that we, who have been slaves to sin under Satan’s cruel tyranny have been brought into the glorious kingdom of light and life through Jesus Christ, the King who was willing to do all things for His people!
