Fifteenth Sunday after Pentecost (Series C, Proper 20)
“You shall have no other gods”
With those words, we begin our study of the First Commandment. Yet even before the commandments are given, God reminds His people of His grace for them–a grace that delivered Israel from bondage; a grace that delivers us from sin through Jesus Christ. Our God is an awesome God. Truly there is no god like our God!
