November 24, 2019 – Covetous or Contented (9th and 10th Commandments)
Last Sunday of the Church Year (Series C) – 1 Timothy 6:6-11
Contentment can be illusive in a world where we are inundated with advertisements urging us to find joy in the accumulation of things. It is not wrong to want nice things and some of the comforts of this world, but we can easily covet these things rather than find contentment in what God has given and provided for us. Are we covetous, or are we content?
