December 8, 2019 – It Isn’t Over Until It’s Over
Second Sunday in Advent (Series A) – Isaiah 11:1-10
In the dark moments of our lives, we can feel overwhelmed and hopeless. That was the way the people of Judah must have felt as Isaiah warned of the coming consequences of sin, which would result in what we know as the Babylonian Captivity. Yet Isaiah has a wonderful word of hope for the people of His day, and for us in our day. It isn’t over until it’s over, and God is with us to lead us through the struggles of this life into the glorious day He has prepared for us in the Righteous branch, Jesus Christ.
